“ I have been going here for years and love their food. The only thing I had I didn't love was their matzah ball soup but my husband makes an incredible version of that so I could be spoiled. Everything else is fantastic! Service is quick and friendly! Love they have a card that you can get your meals checked off and after so many you get a free meal. One other positive is I have seen a lot of the same employees over the years. To me that says a lot as there typically is higher turnover with restaurant employees. The owner must treat them very well. ”

“ We visited JJs on a very busy Saturday, late morning. It as pretty excited because everything looked pretty fresh, the place was bustling customer wise, and the employees were all really funny and upbeat. You can tell they have a groove as a team. We got some bagel sandwiches and a scrambled egg for my baby to eat. My bagel sandwich was on Asiago and I got cheese and bacon with it. The sandwich was a good portion, a little heavy on the bread ratio, but I really enjoyed it with some hot sauce. We have a bagel spot back home and this wasn't quite as good, but it's pretty close and I love that it was local considering most the bagel spots in the area are chains. My husband got a jalapeño bagel sandwich with sausage. He didn't enjoy his bagel type and found the ratio of bread to sandwich insides a little overwhelming, too much bread. He didn't end up finishing his. My daughter ate her egg up and it was a perfect breakfast for her. Value was just slightly more expensive than those bagel chains, but you're supporting local and it's got a different twist of ooptions here. Great amount of outdoor seating here, but we took it to go. We also got 2 pastries, blueberry scone and a little twisted raspberry type thing. Both pastries were excellent! Highly recommend the pastries. Definitely give it a try here and see what you think! ”

There are gluten free options too. They have a good selection of bagels. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. They also have a rewards stamp card available for frequent customers. ”

Sometimes the only bright spot about my hour morning commute to North Scottsdale is my call-ahead to JJs to order my breakfast Bagelwich. I'm a creature of habit: Everything bagel with egg and cheddar cheese. It's plenty big enough without anything else, though sometimes I'll tack on some bacon. Pair it with a cup of hot coffee, and you have yourself a mobile breakfast of champions. Always wrapped up in foil to keep it piping up. The quality is so consistent. The guys behind the counter are friendly and remind me of a New York deli. The ambiance is a diner vibe, with natural light and a bustling atmosphere. The patio is lively with plenty of folks hanging out, sometimes with their dogs, and always with lots of conversation and laughter on faces. What's also incredible is the prices actually haven't seemed to change that much through time. Though, I am speaking only from experience with my Bagelwich, which hasn't left my order in 10 years. ”
